Rocco Sisto (Security Guard) has worked in Theater, Film and Television in New York, Los Angeles, Canada and Europe.
Sisto’s film credits include Donnie Brasco, Frequency, Eraser, Illuminata, Carlito’s Way and the cult hit The American Astronaut. His television credits include: The Sopranos, Law & Order, Law & Order: CI, Homicide, C.S.I., Close to Home, Star Trek T.N.G., Alias, NYPD Blue and JAG.
Broadway credits include: To Be Or Not To Be (Manhattan Theatre Club) Amadeus (Music Box Theatre), A Month in the Country (Roundabout Theatre) and The Comedy of Errors (Lincoln Center). Sisto’s recent off-Broadway credits include: The Palace of the End (Epic Theatre Ensemble) Iphegenia 2.0 (Signature Theatre). Regional theatre credits include ACT Seattle and Seattle Rep, Mark Taper LA, The Guthrie, Dallas Theatre Center. Center Stage Baltimore, among others. Sisto recently originated the role of Octavio, the title character in the world premiere of Joan Ackerman’s The Taster. This past spring in New York he was Angelo in Measure For Measure at the Duke Theatre.
He is a founding member of Shakespeare & Co. where he taught acting and text for their intensive Shakespeare workshops from1979 through 1995. Considered a master teacher of text, he has acted and directed for the company in over two dozen projects. In addition to his Shakespeare and Co. teaching credits, he has taught acting at Columbia University,The Actor’s Center N.Y, Fordham University, and the California Institute of Arts (CAL ARTS). and has been awarded an OBIE for The Winter’s Tale (Public Theater) OBIE and Drama Desk nomination and Drama League Award for Quills (NYTW). He holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Chicago an MFA from the NYU Graduate Acting Program.
